As a Global Player I had the unique opportunity to not only grow and mature personally but was able to acquire a unique set of skills that have influenced my future and provided memories for a lifetime.
EXPERIENCE
Global Players- Lacrosse Study or Intern Abroad (Germany, Austria and Czech Republic) June 15-August 4 2010
- Competed in two European tournaments
- Maintained fitness through training sessions and playing opportunities
- Earned 8 credits in Business and Marketing at a prestigious university in Prague (study abroad)
- Gained professional, hands-on experience through a four-week internship (intern abroad)
- Organized meetings and networked with international business professionals through on-site visits
- Developed training clinics and programs for international lacrosse clubs all over Central Europe
- Managed a personal budget for the full two month program
- Developed new friendships with people from all over the world
- Competed in competitive European tournament- Berlin, Germany
- Participated in GP International Coaching Course
- Organized and facilitated camps and play days for international clubs
- Developed leadership and communication skills by working with different languages and cultures
